iAm glad you asked. Right now, Skimm Ahead is compatible with the iPhone/iPad calendar apps and Google Cal. But we have a lot more up our sleeves. Stay tuned.
Yes. You can either “Skimmify” your calendar, so events are automatically added, or you can pick and choose which events you want to see. Buffet style. To Skimmify, go to Settings in theSkimm app and tap Get theSkimm Calendar. Choose between The Big Stuff, Entertainment, Politics, Sports, and Business. To add individual events, tap the calendar icon in the bottom right of a specific event.
That’s OK, because we’ve thought of everything. You can get all the Skimm Ahead calendar events and read the Daily Skimm in the app too without skimmifying your calendar. So you should still download it.

It’s not going anywhere. We just changed its name to “The Big Stuff.” Because it’s the big stuff and all the big events you need to know about. Don’t worry, nothing changes. We just wanted to give you some more options to opt in to.

Balls on balls. This lets you in on the big sporting events your coworkers will be talking about. We're not interested in clogging your calendar with every game out here -- just the ones you need to know about. It includes football, basketball, tennis, golf, and more. Get ready to know about people more fit than you.
Elections and Supreme Court hearings and speeches, oh my! It'll let you know about big international events like foreign elections and G7 Summits, while also giving you a heads up about Supreme Court hearings and BFD presidential speeches.
Bills bills bills. This is the cal you need if you have friends in finance. It includes everything from earnings to IPOs to Fed meetings. And it'll tell you why you should care about these things. Cha-ching
Right now you can customize what you see in your calendar by picking and choosing which events you want to see and tune in for. You can also now pick which categories interest you. You can also toggle between calendars. We’re working on a lot of exciting updates here at Skimm HQ, so stay tuned.
