I recently chatted with Madeleine Cohen, founder of petite denim brand Nelle Atelier, to get her thoughts on how to style denim as temperatures creep toward 75 degrees. Some brands, including hers, use lightweight, rigid denim for their spring/summer collections. “I would focus on styles that are loose and breezy. Wide-legs, barrel jeans, or baggy styles all fit the bill,” Cohen explains. With that in mind, here are some warm-weather styles we’re eyeing for spring:
