Products you buy through our links may earn us a commission. Oh, and if something's out of stock, oops, it was there (and all prices were accurate) at time of publication.

We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. We’re also just avid shoppers, so in the spirit of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout favorites from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Welcome to the inside scoop.

nightstands

Our new furniture obsession...

I got these nightstands after moving, when I desperately needed to update my next-to-bed organization. Long story short: I'm obsessed with them. They're the perfect color and the drawers hold more than you think — plus, they have this slow-closing feature so I never accidentally slam one shut in the middle of the night (I'm a troubled sleeper compared to my partner). The top is roomy too; it can hold my water bottle, Hatch alarm clock, a mini lamp, book, Google tablet, and more. Both nightstands look so clean next to our bed. I'm so happy with them. –Alexandra Napoli ($449, Article)

The tea getting us through allergy season...

I don’t think I’m alone in saying that allergy season has been particularly bad this year. Every day I wake up with pressure in my head, congestion, and an overwhelming desire to ask the Nasonex bee (aka Antonio Banderas) what to do. The only thing that’s seemed to help is drinking a nightly cup of this tea. I used to drink it on really cold winter nights when I lived in New York, so it’s definitely nostalgic for me. But the chamomile, honey, and vanilla are incredibly soothing. It even helps me fall asleep more quickly, so I can’t live without it. –Martha Upton ($23.47, Amazon)

polo
Buck Mason

An essential spring layering piece...

I didn't realize there was a "short-sleeved quarter-zip" gap in my wardrobe, but after wearing this one from Buck Mason a ton recently, I am obsessed. I wear it on its own as a polo-like top, or layer it with a cropped T-shirt underneath. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something so stylish about this, even though it still feels casual. I'll be wearing it all spring and summer. –Margo Ghertner ($88, Buck Mason)

moisturizer
Sephora

A thick moisturizer made for acne-prone skin...

This new Sofie Pavitt moisturizer has the most unique texture I’ve ever experienced — it’s rich and almost chewy, like a papier mache paste, but it doesn't feel greasy once you massage it in. More importantly, it makes your skin look dewy, smooth, and literally filtered. It’s also totally non comedogenic (Pavitt formulated it with acne-prone skin in mind) and is packed with ingredients your skin barrier loves, like omega fatty acids, squalane, and jojoba oils. –Caroline Goldstein ($64, Sephora)

conditioner

A conditioner by a brand we've used since high school...

My hair is naturally curly and frizzy, so I’m always on the lookout for products that keep the frizz in check and protect against heat damage. I used Mizani back in high school when I first started silk pressing my hair, but this Thermasmooth conditioner is what brought me back. My hair feels softer, looks shinier after flat ironing, and honestly — I’m obsessed. –Sarai Thompson ($27.99, Walmart)

body-wash
Ulta

A body wash that does more...

I've always loved a good foamy body wash for my showers, but this one from Method takes the cake. First, the scents are out of this world. They're present and strong without being overwhelming. I especially love that they linger long after I take a shower, so my bathroom smells fresh and clean. The foam is a great consistency, too, and won't get stuck on your shower walls. It has glycerin, which helps your skin retain moisture, and aloe vera to help soothe. My favorite scents are the jasmine & sandalwood and the  vetiver & amber. –Alessandra Rey ($14.50, Ulta)
