Products you buy through our links may earn us a commission. Oh, and if something's out of stock, oops, it was there (and all prices were accurate) at time of publication.

We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. We’re also just avid shoppers, so in the spirit of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout favorites from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Welcome to the inside scoop.

sunglasses
Quay

Sunglasses great for all your upcoming trips...

I can never get myself to spend a lot on sunglasses — it's an item that could easily be lost or damaged, so why shell out so much? Quay is the perfect balance. I've had my pair for months now. They're durable, cute, and don't cost an arm and a leg. If I did end up losing them, I wouldn't be devastated, but I'd quickly buy a second pair. I just traveled for a week in Italy and never thought twice about throwing these in my crossbody. They went with every outfit because of the classic black, too. I highly rec if you're looking for a pair of trendy yet affordable sunglasses. –Alexandra Napoli ($95, Quay)

hand-soap
Target

A hand soap we can't stop buying...

I’ve never really cared that much about fancy hand soap, but I happened to spot this Method one and decided to give it a try. It smells so good — like a woodsy, cedar-y cologne, almost exactly like the popular Le Labo Santal 33. I love that it’s made with plant-based cleansers so it’s safe for sensitive skin, is cruelty-free, and the scent lingers more than a few minutes after I’m done washing my hands. The bottle — made from recycled aluminum — is also incredibly chic and lasts what seems like forever. This soap has officially reached cult status in my household. –Martha Upton ($7.79, Target)

moisturizer

A moisturizer from a skincare line to watch...

I’ve been following board-certified dermatologist Dr. Samantha Ellis for a while now for her informative skincare content. This month, I decided to try out the Skin Utility Ointment from her line, Prequel, and I can’t get enough of it. It’s similar to Aquaphor in texture and in purpose, but without the lanolin that irritates my skin. Now, I’m excited to try more products from her line — not only because they’re backed and developed by a dermatologist, but also because the price point is great. –Margo Ghertner ($18, Amazon)

hair-cream
Sephora

An air dry cream that actually works...

I grabbed JVN’s air dry cream as an impulse buy at Sephora, and now I can’t live without it. It’s coming in handy as summer rolls around, when I like to lay off the hot tools and embrace my natural wavy texture. It defines my waves so nicely, and I’m even getting some springy coils underneath, which I haven’t seen since I was a kid. It also gives my hair a hint of texture and mussiness for that sexy-bedhead-beachy-wave vibe. –Caroline Goldstein ($14+, Sephora)

dress
H&M

The perfect white dress for summer...

Every summer, I work to create a capsule of dresses that I can wear for all the special moments, weddings, picnics, etc. This dress has to be my absolute favorite out of my collection. It fits perfectly on my 5’2” frame and pairs well with heels or flats. The inner lining is so soft, and the detailing of the embroidery makes me feel like I’m tapping into my cottagecore era. –Sarai Thompson ($54.99, H&M)

eye-cream
Sephora

An eye cream that gave us visible results...

I never thought much about eye cream until I gave my entire skincare routine a much-needed refresh. I got a sample of this Biossance eye cream when shopping at Sephora and instantly fell in love. In just three days, I noticed the puffiness around my under eyes had reduced a lot. My pores look smaller and my overall complexion feels fresher. I didn't hesitate in buying the Squalane + Omega Repair Cream, too. I am simply obsessed. –Alessandra Rey ($56, Sephora)

sunscreen
Vacation

A sunscreen even sunscreen haters will love...

I fall into the I-don’t-tan-I-burn category but despise the application of most sunscreens. I’m always ready to try a new launch in hopes that it’ll be the one that won’t make it feel like a chore. This Vacation sunscreen, which is a reformulation of the iconic Bain Soleil, hits the mark. Its gritty texture is lightly exfoliating and the balm-to-oil formula leaves you with the perfect just-back-from-Europe glow. I’m also obsessed with the scent, which my mom confirmed smells exactly like the OG. –Abby Drozd ($23, Vacation)
